Glenda Bailey-Mershon's Signing Party & Jane's Stories Fundraiser
Many thanks to all who joined us and guest of honor, Glenda Bailey-Mershon, for our recent fundraiser in Evanston. We enjoyed a selection of enviable appetizers while Glenda autographed copies of her first novel, Eve's Garden. This compelling story of three generations of a family surviving as outsiders in their communities is beautifully told. It is no surprise that Glenda is also a poet.

In addition to delighting in conversation with other book lovers we got a little history of Romani culture which will add to our appreciation of the novel. And caricaturist Marlene Goodman  delighted several attendees with whimsical, yet uncanny, likenesses.
