Susanna Lang signed her new book, Even Now, at our table.
Lang’s poems are alive with images of the natural world. About her collection
Even Now, published in June 2008 by The Backwaters Press, one critic says: “Each poem leaves a tingle in the white space,
something that not many poems do today. . . . it is also a book that turns the page in wonder—knowing that silence must
listen as well as be heard.” Her original poems and essays, as well as translations from the French, have appeared in
such publications as The Baltimore Review, Kalliope, Chicago Review and New Directions.
