Linda Mitchell, jazz singer and poet, facilitates the Asheville Circle.

I spin my dreams in silver
Of threads delicate, illusive, intense.
Before my eyes my fingers dance and flash
As form and technique argue
hope and fulfillment clash

My Heart,
My gritty little heart
Contain irritating grains,
Enough to make a pearl.

Welcome women writers

WHAT IS A JANE'S WRITING CIRCLE?
Jane's Circles bring women writers  together in a non-threatening, nurturing environment to share our work, receive gentle critique, if desired, and write to prompts and exercises.

Currently there are Jane's Circles meeting in St. Augustine, Fl, and Chicago, Il. We also two highly successful have virtual circles, one for poets and one for those writing books.  a new virtual memoir circle is forming now.

The Asheville Jane's Circle will meet as a group when we have at least three women interested in REGULAR sharing of work and ideas.

INTERESTED? Contact Linda Mitchell at asheville@janesstories.org  or 828 779-2583  for more information about the Asheville Jane's Circle.
Now you too can gain the benefit of sharing your work in a non-competive atmosphere and be energized by contact with like-minded women who write.     Bring a short work or excerpt to share, a writing friend, your favorite pen, journal, notebook or paper.  We will get energized to write for a few minutes using prompts and relaxation techniques.
SEE YOU THEN
